intro

Little choices, caring friendships

Kindness Picnic is a free social-emotional learning game for children aged 2–5. Seven short stories introduce everyday moments: a dropped sandwich, a shared ball, a new friend and an accidental spill. Children practise noticing another person’s feelings and choosing a caring response. There are no timers, lost lives or penalties. A gentle explanation invites another try, so your child can explore without pressure.

Talk about feelings together

Sit alongside your child and name what you notice: “Bunny’s ears are drooping. How might she feel?” After a story, ask, “What helped our friend?” Accept different words and let your child take their time. Feeling sad, cross or worried is normal; kindness does not mean hiding feelings. The optional face activity adds feeling words when your child is ready.

Try this offline

Make a pretend picnic with soft toys. Invite a toy that is sitting alone, take turns passing a ball, or share pretend food into equal portions. Practise a slow breath together when a tower falls. Keep it playful and praise the caring action rather than comparing children. This child-safe game has no adverts, external links or personal-data questions.
