Teenagers do not want to be talked down to, so the Elonic World activities in this band drop the cartoon scaffolding and focus on the challenge itself: solve for the missing value, trace what the loop actually does, work out whether the deal is worth it. The interface stays clean, the maths stays honest, and nothing is padded out to feel longer than it is.
Algebra and coding are the two anchors here. Both reward the same approach — work out the rule, apply it, check the result — and both are far easier to keep sharp with short, frequent practice than with revision crammed the night before a test. Money maths rounds it out with the arithmetic teenagers genuinely use.

Working with an unknown value is the step that unlocks most of secondary maths. Repeated small puzzles make the notation feel ordinary rather than intimidating.
Coding logic
Sequences, loops and conditions are the whole foundation of programming. Getting them right by hand transfers directly to any real language later.
Everyday financial maths
Percentages, change and comparing value are the maths skills teenagers use soonest outside a classroom.
Reading and analysis
Comprehension, inference and structuring an argument matter more than speed at this stage — our reading module leans that way.
